Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

Orthopaedic rehabilitation is a doctor-supervised program designed to help people recover from musculoskeletal injuries , diseases or surgeries. Any injury or condition that affects your muscles , bones, cartilage, joints , tendons or ligaments included orthopedic rehabilitation.

This will restore movement, motion, flexibility and strength to that part of the body which needs healing. You may also reduce symptoms when coping with an orthopedic problem, and improve the quality of life. Additionally, it will help you prevent potential issues. The musculoskeletal rehabilitation is another term for this form of programme.

ORTHOPAEDIC REHABILITATION
The components of an orthopedic rehab program may include:

Physical therapy (PT), specifically orthopedic physical therapy, to help you move your body better. To accomplish this, it uses many methods, including strength training, relaxation exercises, acupuncture, heat and cold therapy, electrical stimulation, and a home exercise plan. These strategies will help you move fast or with less pain.

Occupational therapy (OT) to improve your ability to function in day-to-day activities or occupations. It teaches you new ways of approaching activities and how to break down tasks into manageable sections.

Sports rehabilitation, including sports physical therapy, which focuses on exercise- and sports-related injuries and conditions.
